Softball Recap: Lakeside Lancers vs. Heritage Patriots

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Canyon Springs, Lakeside was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Heritage Patriots by a score of 9-4. The Lancers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Michaela Alvarado was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and not a single walk).
