Football Game Preview: Boulder Panthers vs. Lakewood Tigers + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Boulder will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing at home against the Lakewood Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Boulder comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Boulder is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Monarch on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Panthers had to suffer through a 63-6 loss at the hands of the Coyotes. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-0.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 42-7, which was the final score in Lakewood's tilt against Golden on Friday.

Boulder's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lakewood, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-5.

Boulder won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, slipping by Lakewood 14-13. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
