Softball Game Preview: North Forney Falcons vs. Edgewood Bulldogs

The North Forney Falcons will square off against the Edgewood Bulldogs at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. North Forney will be strutting in after a win while Edgewood will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, North Forney turned things around against Colorado on Friday. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Wolves.

Aundrea Wilson was a standout: she scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Kara Doyal, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, Edgewood has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.67 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They lost 13-2 to Community.

Edgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-1. As for North Forney, their win bumped their record up to 9-7-1.

North Forney came up short against Edgewood in their previous matchup last Tuesday, falling 10-5. Can North Forney avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
