Football Game Recap: Palos Verdes vs. Newbury Park

After soaring to 38 points the game before, Newbury Park faltered in their match on Friday. They took a serious blow against Palos Verdes, falling 0-42. Newbury Park were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Palos Verdes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat from the last time the teams met up. The matchup brought Palos Verdes to 2-3 and dropped Newbury Park to a mirror-image 3-2.

Newbury Park will look to defend their home turf next week against St. Bonaventure at 7:00 PM. As for Palos Verdes, they will face off against Mira Costa. Mira Costa also lit up the scoreboard in their last game, so this could be a high-scoring game.
