Greenwood was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Easley work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 29-27.
Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 12-8-1. As for Greenwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-17-1.
Hillcrest took their win against Greenwood in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hillcrest since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
