Volleyball Recap: Mulberry Grove Find Success

After losing to Martinsville the last time they met, Mulberry Grove decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Aces sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Bluestreaks on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Aces.

Mulberry Grove had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-10, 25-20.

Mulberry Grove now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Martinsville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Mulberry Grove has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City on the 25th. As for Martinsville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Dugger Union on the 20th.
