Volleyball Game Preview: Lake Region Thunder vs. Haines City Hornets + Official Tickets

Lake Region is on a six-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Haines City a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Lake Region Thunder will be playing at home against the Haines City Hornets at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Lake Region's tournament run continued when they took on Ridge Community on Saturday. The Thunder fell 2-0 to the Bolts.

Meanwhile, Haines City didn't have quite enough to beat Frostproof on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Haines City wouldn't go down easily and took Frostproof into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 25-5, 25-15, 22-25, 16-14.

Haines City now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Lake Region, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-22.
