Basketball Recap: Wrightstown Takes a Loss

Wrightstown was the 50-45 winner over Waupaca when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 58-46 to the Comets on Thursday. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Wrightstown's record is now 8-12. As for Waupaca, their win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-16.

Coming up, Wrightstown will host Roncalli at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Tigers will be up against the Jets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.95 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Waupaca, they and Marinette will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. The Marines have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
