Pikesville dropped their record down to 5-3 on Monday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They lost 31-11 to the Western Tech & Environmental Science Wolverines. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 18-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

As for Western Tech & Environmental Science, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. Considering they have won 11 contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

For Western Tech & Environmental Science's part, they let Nicole Camacho and Juliahna Thomas run wild. Camacho fired off four stolen bases, six runs, and three doubles while getting on base in six of her seven plate appearances, while Thomas got on base in six of her seven plate appearances with one home run, six RBI, and two stolen bases. Those six runs gave Camacho a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bailey Allen, who got on base in five of her seven plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI.
