Manteo had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it nine on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Perquimans Pirates with a sharp 6-0 victory. Considering Manteo have won nine contests by more than three goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
