            Enloe is 0-10 against Athens Drive since April of 2018 but things could change  on Thursday. The Eagles will venture away from home to  face off against the Jaguars  at 4:30  p.m.
Wednesday just wasn't the day for Enloe's offense. They lost  8-0 to Leesville Road on Wednesday. The Eagles' defeat continues a  trend for the  team, making it five in a row.
Meanwhile, Athens Drive posted their closest  victory since March 8th on Tuesday. They skirted past Broughton  4-2.
Athens Drive got a great performance from  Luke Haltom as he  tossed five innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   five  hits. Haltom also  tossed  no  walks, which is notable because the Jaguars are undefeated when he allows at  most  one  walk, but 10-11 otherwise.
 At the plate,  Shota Sharman was  excellent,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs and one  RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Athens Drive's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is undefeated (and 8-11 when he doesn't).
 Athens Drive pushed their record up to 13-11 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Enloe, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.
 Enloe came up short against Athens Drive in their previous matchup  back in March, falling  7-2. Can the Eagles avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
