Volleyball Recap: Jeffersonville Falls to Seymour in First Game of Season

Jeffersonville unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Seymour Owls on Saturday. If the Red Devils were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Owls when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 25-18.

Jenna Kelley paced Jeffersonville's offense, picking up eight kills. Kelley got some help from Riley Dobson and her 16 assists.

Jeffersonville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Oldham County on the 19th. As for Seymour, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Columbus North on the 19th.
