Softball Recap: Hyde Park Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Hyde Park's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 8-0 to the Phillips Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Thunderbirds just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row dating back to last season.

Hyde Park's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Phillips, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hyde Park will square off against rival Julian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Phillips is set to take on their familiar foe Little Village at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
