Basketball Recap: Booker Find Success

Booker won the last time they faced Beaver, and Julian Barton did his part to make sure it happened again. The Booker Kiowas came out on top against the Beaver Dusters by a score of 55-46 on Friday thanks in part to Barton, who went 9 of 20 on his way to 22 points and five assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Booker's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian Rosales, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 17 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2023.

Booker's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Beaver, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Booker didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-37 win against Goodwell on the 14th. As for Beaver, they will head out to face off against Mooreland at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
