Softball Recap: St. Francis Comes Up Short

St. Francis lost against Andover back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Fighting Saints took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies.

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Andover, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Coming up, St. Francis will face off against Monticello at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Magic have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.13 runs per game on average), something the Fighting Saints will no doubt try to take advantage of. Andover has already played their next game (against Concordia Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
