Basketball Recap: Center Line Prep Comes Up Short

Center Line Prep lost against Center Line back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Center Line Prep came up short against Center Line, falling 78-55.

Center Line's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kameren Higginbotham, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 13 assists. Those 13 assists gave Higginbotham a new career-high. Raymel Hudson was another key player, going 8-for-15 on his way to 17 points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

Center Line Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Center Line, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Center Line Prep and Oak Park will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Center Line will take on Westfield Prep in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 71.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
