Baseball Game Preview: South Bronx Phoenix vs. Luperon

The South Bronx Phoenix will head out to challenge Luperon at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Bronx's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Luperon's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

South Bronx blew Bronx High School of Science out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Bronx High School of Science got their revenge. The Phoenix fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 10-8. The Phoenix have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Luperon had taken Walton down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. Luperon took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Walton.

Luperon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for South Bronx, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
