Manchester Valley had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Linganore Lancers by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Manchester Valley of the 4-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Linganore's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Manchester Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Francis Scott Key at 6:30 p.m. on the 18th. As for Linganore, they will venture away from home to face off against Walkersville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
