Baseball Recap: Rochester Takes a Loss

Rochester lost against New Prairie back in May of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Zebras fell 8-5 to the Cougars.

Tanner Reinartz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Rochester's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for New Prairie, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-9.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Rochester will face off against Manchester at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for New Prairie, they are taking a road trip to take on Kouts at 9:00 a.m. on Monday.
