Volleyball Recap: Milpitas Comes Up Short

Milpitas lost against Gunn back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Trojans fell 3-1 to the Titans.

While Milpitas ultimately came up short, they really made Gunn work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-19, 22-25, 25-20.

Milpitas' defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Gunn, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-5.

Looking ahead, Milpitas will head out to square off against Eastside College Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Gunn, they will face off against Wilcox at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
