There's no place like home for Stagg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Red Wolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

While Stagg might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Thornton Fractional South scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20.

Nicole Maka paced Stagg's offense, picking up six kills. Maka were helped by Areli Colon and Noor Moussa, who contributed two assists each. Katy Zumerchik controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Stagg's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Thornton Fractional South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Stagg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Downers Grove South on the 4th. As for Thornton Fractional South, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Argo on the 4th.
