University is 8-2 against North Central since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The University Titans will venture away from home to face off against the North Central Wolfpack at 6:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

University is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They skirted past Cheney 68-66.

Meanwhile, North Central didn't have quite enough to beat Central Valley on Tuesday and fell 61-59. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (56), the Wolfpack still had to take the loss.

University will have to contain Makai Daniels as he made an impact in North Central's last game. He dropped a double-double with 23 points and 13 rebounds. Daniels' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Elijah Wright, who posted 14 points and eight boards.

University has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.0 points over those games. As for North Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7.

University came up short against North Central in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 51-46. Can University avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
