Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets by a score of 5-2.

Audrey Haywood made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Haywood was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Ella Haywood was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Roanoke Rapids, they moved to 6-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association will take on Christchurch School in a tournament on Friday. As for Roanoke Rapids, they will square off against Bunn at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
