Baseball Game Preview: Hartfield Academy Hawks vs. Warren Central Vikings

The Hartfield Academy Hawks will challenge the Warren Central Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Hartfield Academy is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Columbia Academy just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 5-2 to the Cougars. The contest marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

It's a different story for Warren Central, though, as they've been averaging 9.3 hits. Given Hartfield Academy's sizable advantage in that area, Warren Central will need to find a way to close that gap.
