Baseball Recap: Brookville Takes a Loss

Brookville made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Oakwood, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Lumberjacks by a score of 6-4 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Blue Devils have suffered since May 30, 2024.

Brookville saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Horn, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another was Blake Sprada, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one double.

Brookville is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7. As for Oakwood, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2-1.
