Holtville's matchup on Thursday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Everything went their way against the Wetumpka Indians as they made off with a 4-1 win. Considering Holtville have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Holtville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those six matchups. As for Wetumpka, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holtville will face off against Tallassee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wetumpka, they will take on Smiths Station at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Smiths Station will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Wetumpka surely won't give up without a fight.
