Meanwhile, Bentonville came tearing into Tuesday's match with nine straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Bentonville was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-15, 25-9.
Bentonville's win came from a few key players Northside will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ady Bollinger, who had 12 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times she's played. Kate Viccaro was another key player, getting ten digs and one assist.
Bentonville's win bumped their record up to 24-2. As for Northside, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-16.
Northside suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Bentonville in their previous matchup back in September. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bollinger, who had 18 digs and two assists.
