Basketball Recap: Highland Park Comes Up Short

Highland Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 76-57 fall against Timothy Christian. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Owls of the 86-64 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.

Highland Park's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Timothy Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-17.

Coming up, Highland Park will challenge Edison at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Owls will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.32 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Timothy Christian, they have already played their next matchup, a 72-47 defeat against Metuchen on the 10th.
