Basketball Recap: Butternut HomeSchoolers Takes a Loss

Butternut HomeSchoolers had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. The matchup between them and the FAITH HomeSchool Falcons didn't end well, with Butternut HomeSchoolers falling 49-33. Butternut HomeSchoolers was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as FAITH HomeSchool apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

FAITH HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Butternut HomeSchoolers will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Algoma Christian at 5:45 p.m. on January 23, 2025. As for FAITH HomeSchool, they will head out to take on More Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
