The win made it two in a row for Kennedy and bumps their season record up to 9-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Western Dubuque, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Kennedy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-2 win against Valley on the 5th. As for Western Dubuque, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-5 victory against Independence on the 4th.
