Basketball Game Preview: Osborne Cardinals vs. Pebblebrook Falcons

The Osborne Cardinals will take on the Pebblebrook Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Osborne is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Osborne is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against McEachern on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Osborne took a blow against McEachern, falling 90-50. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 356th, while the Indians are ranked third).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pebblebrook, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They took down Harrison 61-44 on Tuesday.

Pebblebrook has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Osborne, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
