Basketball Recap: Olive Takes a Loss

Olive was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 59-29 defeat at the hands of the Wesleyan Christian Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 471st, while the Mustangs are ranked 185th).

Olive's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Wesleyan Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.

Olive has already played their next game, a 33-18 defeat against Yale on the 25th. As for Wesleyan Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-29 loss against Woodland on the 25th.
