Basketball Recap: Midlakes Takes a Loss

Midlakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Newark Reds, falling 63-35. While losing is never fun, the Screaming Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 521st in New York, while the Reds are ranked 134th in New York).

Midlakes' defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Newark, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Midlakes nor Newark have any future games scheduled.
