Volleyball Recap: Yuba City Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Yuba City lost against River Valley back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Honkers fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 3-2.

Yuba City took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-16, 22-25, 19-25, 25-23, 15-13.

When it comes to explaining why Yuba City lost, don't look at Dessa McDonald. Despite the final result, she had 29 digs and five aces. McDonald has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last ten times she's played.

Yuba City's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-11. As for River Valley, their record is now 12-15.

Coincidentally, Yuba City and River Valley will both be playing Del Campo the next time they take the court. The Honkers will host the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Falcons will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
