Basketball Recap: Cherokee Takes a Loss

If Cherokee was feeling good fresh off their 71-3 takedown of Aline-Cleo last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cherokee Chiefs fell 46-34 to the Balko Bison on Thursday.

Cherokee's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Balko, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Cherokee will square off against Buffalo at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. Cherokee is facing Buffalo at the right time seeing as Buffalo is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Balko has already played their next game, a 66-35 loss against Seiling on the 11th.
