Volleyball Recap: Gallatin Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Gallatin suffered their biggest defeat since September 12, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Franklin Admirals, falling 3-0. The Green Wave were not able to make up for their loss to the Admirals from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-17.

Sarah Grace Slusher paced Gallatin's offense, picking up seven kills. Slusher got some help from Chloe Wix and her six assists. Slusher was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Franklin found their leader in sophomore Maggie Myhr, who had 15 digs and three assists.

Gallatin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Franklin, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Gallatin will take on Mount Juliet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Franklin, they will square off against Brentwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
