Soccer Recap: Ridgeland Comes Up Short

Ridgeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Gilmer Bobcats. Ridgeland were not able to make up for their defeat to Gilmer from their previous meeting back in March of 2020.

Ridgeland's goal came courtesy of Maria Ronda, who's now up to nine this season.

Ridgeland's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Gilmer, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Ridgeland wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 7-1 defeat against Adairsville on the 25th. As for Gilmer, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-0 loss against Northwest Whitfield on the 25th.
