Softball Game Preview: Seminole Warhawks vs. St. Petersburg Green Devils

Seminole is on a three-game streak of home losses, and St. Petersburg a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Seminole Warhawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the St. Petersburg Green Devils at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Seminole came up short against Osceola on Friday, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that the Warhawks have lost by exactly ten runs.

Seminole saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sydney Beardsley, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, St. Petersburg came up short against Pinellas Park on Thursday and fell 9-4.

Victoria Wirth was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

St. Petersburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Seminole, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.

Seminole took their win against St. Petersburg in their previous meeting on March 6th by a conclusive 18-0. Will Seminole repeat their success, or does St. Petersburg has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
