Baseball Recap: Mormon Trail Comes Up Short

Mormon Trail fell victim to Lamoni and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Demons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saints of the 13-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in July of 2020.

Mormon Trail's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lamoni, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Mormon Trail will be playing in front of their home fans against Seymour at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lamoni, they will venture away from home to face off against Moulton-Udell at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18 runs per game on average), something the Demons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
