Basketball Recap: Midd-West Mustangs vs. Line Mountain Eagles
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Halifax, Midd-West was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 39-26 victory over the Line Mountain Eagles. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Mustangs as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Midd-West got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was D'Zani Coley out in front who had 15 points along with four steals. The dominant performance also gave Coley a new career-high in assists (three). Another player making a difference was Nash Grover, who posted six points along with six rebounds and four steals.
The win got Midd-West back to even at 1-1.
