There's no place like home for Blanchard, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Tecumseh Savages 56-21. That looming 56-21 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Lions yet this season.

Caysen Garcia was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 156 yards and four TDs while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. Another rusher making a difference was Brody Sherman, who rushed for 55 yards and three scores.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Blanchard proved: they limited Tecumseh to a paltry 1.4 yards per carry. Blanchard's run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 3.57 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 6.37 on average over their last five games.

Tecumseh lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jekhi Owens, who picked up 179 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Wyatt Dodgion was another key player, throwing for 331 yards and three TDs.

Blanchard's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.7 points over those games. As for Tecumseh, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Coming up, Blanchard is taking a road trip to take on Ardmore at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tecumseh, they will host Tuttle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Savages will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
