Volleyball Recap: Columbia Comes Up Short

Columbia lost against Ardmore back in September of 2015 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Tigers.

Columbia was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring zero points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0.

Columbia has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Ardmore, their victory ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 8-19.

Columbia has already played their next contest (against Westminster Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Ardmore, after both having extra time off, they and Priceville will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
