Recap: Randolph Vo-Tech vs. Motivation Jaguars
This season hasn't been kind to Randolph Vo-Tech, who are still winless after their fifth match. They took a 49-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Motivation. While losing is never fun, Randolph Vo-Tech can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 643rd, while Motivation is ranked 253rd).
Among those leading the charge was Kevin Looney, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Siriman Singare was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Randolph Vo-Tech bumped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Motivation, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Randolph Vo-Tech will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mariana Bracetti Academy at 3:15 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Motivation will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Northeast at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Northeast has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 451 points over their last seven matches.
