Volleyball Recap: Middletown Comes Up Short

Middletown lost against Fairfield back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Middies came up short against the Indians, falling 3-0. The Middies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-14.

Peyton Smith had a dynamite game For Fairfield., getting 15 digs and three aces.

Middletown's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Fairfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

Coming up, Middletown will be playing at home against Franklin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fairfield, they will challenge Wyoming at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
