Baseball Game Preview: Skyline Spartans vs. Hazen Highlanders

The Skyline Spartans are taking a road trip to face off against the Hazen Highlanders at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Skyline came up short against Newport - Bellevue on Monday, falling 13-1.

Skyline saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tommy Seem, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Hazen's offense. They lost 8-0 to Issaquah on Monday.

Hazen's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Skyline, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Skyline was able to grind out a solid win over Hazen in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, winning 8-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
