Baseball Recap: Arcadia Valley Comes Up Short

Arcadia Valley had lost six straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 5-14 to make it seven. They came up short against the Potosi Trojans, falling 10-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Arcadia Valley saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paul Young, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double. That double was Young's first of the season.

As for Potosi, their record is now 9-15. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

On Potosi's side, Brayden Blair was incredible, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Blair a new career-high. Edward Sansegraw was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Arcadia Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-3 loss against Valley on the 15th. As for Potosi, they will square off against Herculaneum at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
