Softball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Colville Crimson Hawks, falling 18-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rams have suffered against the Crimson Hawks since May 8, 2021.

Riverside saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izzy Cotner, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Colville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

While Riverside had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
