Volleyball Recap: Victory Christian Academy Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Victory Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Varsity Opponent on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Victory Christian Academy took Varsity Opponent into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 25-18, 25-11, 23-25, 15-13.

Victory Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Natalee Caraway, who had 12 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Caraway has posted since back in November of 2024.

Caraway wasn't the only good server: Victory Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 26 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 12 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Victory Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-3-2.
