Baseball Recap: Orange Takes a Loss

Orange lost against Southern Alamance last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers lost 12-5 to the Patriots. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Orange saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Oliver Van Tiem, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Orange's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Southern Alamance, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

Orange wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-1 loss against Cedar Ridge on the 15th. As for Southern Alamance, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-2 defeat against Ragsdale on the 15th.
