Baseball Recap: West Carroll Takes a Loss

West Carroll lost against Polo back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Thunder lost 13-4 to the Marcos. The Thunder just can't catch a break and have now endured eight losses in a row.

West Carroll saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Thulen, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Chanse Schnitzler also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

West Carroll's record is now 1-8. As for Polo, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

West Carroll will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Galena at 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Polo, they will be playing at home against Milledgeville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
